It is always a challenge to get photos of a property that reflect the space and the ‘warmth’ of an apartment. At Canberra Furnished Accommodation we put a great deal of thought into colours, design, room configuration and all the little things that go towards our guests having an enjoyable stay. We are keen to have this reflected in our photos of our new Sahana accommodation. Our team is delighted, once again, by the images we have been given by Paul Chapman of Developing Agents.
Our Sahana building was completed last month. We offer one and two queen bedroom apartments in our signature crisp, modern style. The living areas have entertainment suites with larget flat screen TV’s, DVD’s and stereo systems. They also include European laundries, furnished balconies and kitchens so well equipped you could literally cook a five course meal.
The comfort of our guests is always our number one priority. Also included is an espresso machine with complimentary coffee, reverse cycle air conditioning, plush towels, ironed quality bed linen, kitchen and bathroom amenities. The Sahana complex is secure and all guests are entitled to underground parking with our compliments. Turner is located right next to Canberra’s CBD, close to the ANU, and Canberra’s tourist attractions. Australia’s premier flower festival – Floriade
The team at Canberra Furnished Accommodation have welcomed the change in season with enthusiasm. The pink and white blossoms adorn the trees around our beautiful city, as do short sleeves instead of thick jumpers. However, nothing spells S-P-R-I-N-G in the nations capital like Floriade. Laurie and Elyse represented the Canberra Furnished team at the official industry launch on Friday. And it wasn’t just the flowers that looked beautiful. The ladies looked stunning in their black and white ensembles with a pop of yellow and blue.

Team Charity Effort
It was a very cold Canberra morning and we had to tuck our hands in our pockets to stop our fingers going numb as we walked the few kilometres from our meeting point to the starting line.
The event was the 2011 ACT Mothers Day Classic walk and the Canberra Furnished Accommodation team raised over $2,000.00 in support of Breast Cancer Research. Thank you so very much to all those who supported and sponsored us.
We completed the walk in 54 minutes and with our families there to cheer us on we finished in style by jogging to the finish line.
Our team was 3rd out of all the Canberra teams (see image), we are so proud of this effort because the teams in 1st and 2nd position were much larger than our little trio.

Our Canberra Recommendations
See The Autumn Leaves in Canberra. A friend of ours is a highly accomplished Arborist who travels around Australia for his work. He bought to our attention that Canberra has the most colourful Autumn trees in the country because of our weather. We got to thinking that this is not something that is promoted enough in Canberra.
If you are going to be here during the Autumn months, we would highly recommend that you take a walk around Lake Burley Griffin, the southern side of the foreshore in the main basin is a beautiful display of colour.
