Laurie McDonald
Founder and Director

Laurie is the founder and owner of Canberra Furnished Accommodation. Before starting her first business she worked in the public service, private sector as a professional temporary employee and hospitality industry. Laurie has a passion for property, especially renovation and interior design. She’s also an award winning entrepreneur and holds a number of board roles. Laurie is an Aboriginal traditional owner from the Ngunnawal nation and is actively involved in many ventures to improve life for Indigenous people.

Our wonderful office team all jump in to looks after our Guest Services in Reception, respond to all enquiries, look after your bookings, and make sure our guests are taken care of in their home away from home. You’ll never know who’ll you’ll get but your happiness is a priority for us all!

Tracy

Property

Tracy previously managed a fresh produce delivery business and is now the Property Officer here at Canberra Furnished Accommodation. She loves keeping our tenants and guests happy, as well as taking care and maintaining all the properties. Just like Laurie, Tracy has a passion for interior design and is always keen to keep our properties looking stylish and welcoming.

Leanne
Housekeeping Supervisor

Leanne has been a part of the Canberra Furnished Accommodation family for 5+ years and knows every property inside and out. With her diverse working background, Leanne has the know how to make each property a home away from home. She loves taking pride in her work and the joy of a clean property.

Malcolm
Housekeeping

Malcolm previously worked in construction and cleaning, which later brought him into his role as housekeeping. He loves helping Leanne make each property at Canberra Furnished Accommodation look amazing for every guest. Malcolm also wears the gardener’s pants and won’t leave a single leaf untrimmed when it comes to keeping our gardens and common areas looking its best.

Matt McDonald
Maintenance

Matt has immense knowledge in property, and always has a keen eye when it comes to maintenance. With 14 years of experience with all the properties, he is familiar with all the little quirks that comes with each home away from home. He’s one of the best at thinking on his feet and coming up with a solution.

Connor McDonald
Project Officer

Connor is taking after his mum in being a mini entrepreneur, especially after starting up his own soft drink vending machine in our reception. He also manages his very own lawn mowing business. Connor is our furniture construction specialist and all around comedian.

Bailey McDonald
Rookie

Bailey is the rookie of Canberra Furnished Accommodation. He is our official guest treats taste critic, making sure there are plenty of tasty treats for the guests to enjoy. Bailey loves to joke around with the team and motivate them, brightening every person he meet’s day.
