Puppy Love…
If Elyse could have anything she wanted for Christmas, she would ask for 12 dogs – one for each day of the holiday season. Are any of those packages moving Elyse? If Santa does deliver, we might have a tired Property Manager and team leader in 2014!
A ‘shocking’ Christmas wish
When we asked Treva, our maintenance, IT and security guru what he would like for Christmas if he could have anything… he said, “Cybernetic implants”. Well, we look forward to meeting ‘Robo-Treva’ in the new year.
A classic bush Christmas
Our newest team member, Holly Nott, is doing a sterling job in Guest Services. Hailing from country Queensland, she is hitting the road to be with her family up north. Apart from catching up with loved ones, she is looking forward to ‘a rib-gorging campoven Christmas feast’.
Grumpy Santa
Our marketing and projects specialist Jules shared a funny Christmas memory. “My father dressed up as Santa for my small children. However, as he entered the house he accidentally knocked over the very expensive nativity figurines with his large sack. The kids stared bug eyed at a Santa who educated them in words they had never heard before!”
Children and grandchildren abound!
Our Housekeeping Supervisor Leanne and her partner Malcolm have 11 children between them. At last count the grandkids were in the mid thirties. Apart from remembering names and lots of cuddles, Leanne looks forward to spending time preparing for a move to the country in 2014.
Working on the land…
Malcom from our Housekeeping department will continue to spend every day off working hard in the sun on the property he has with his partner Leanne. Perhaps Santa can arrange a few rainy days to let him have some R & R while filling the watertanks.
Christmas Sunny Style
Christmas will see Sunny from housekeeping spending special moments with his wife and young children. There is nothing like waking up to the excitement of little ones receiving gifts on Christmas day. He may even have a dance as part of all the festivities. Will he oppa Gangnam Style?
Homeward bound
Christmas brings Tong from housekeeping university holidays and the chance to go home to see family and friends. We are sure they will be delighted to see the huge smile which we get to enjoy so regularly in the office. Have a great trip Tong. See you again in 2014.
