I was privileged to attend the opening of Floriade on Friday 10th September so I can tell you on good authority that  it will be well worth your time to visit.  The flowers are beautiful and the planned entertainment is sure to impress.

Floriade was officially opened by Andrew Barr, MLA with an acknowledgment to country read by Aunty Agnus from the Ngunnawal Elders Council and Kristy Hinze dressed in a beautiful gown bedecked in hand sewn fresh rose petals, it was amazing and she is even more beautiful in person.  I’ve included some photos below.
